SoOSC weapon
Gonna be starting to do SoOSC soon and was wondering what type of staff mods would be good for the Snowstorm man. the wiki says shield and caster weapon but i see everyone seems to be using a staff and i think it looks cool when you run with it so im gonna use the staff.

For SoOSC Snow you should have:
- A +5 energy weapon of enchanting and a shield with while enchanted mods for running. - Zealous Daggers of Enchanting for killing things (req 9 or lower). - Insightful Staff of Enchanting with Have Faith Inscription for high energy set. You should really only have the staff out if your energy is too low to cast. xPc. |

Insightful + Enchanting for staff mods

Staffs are usefull on perma's for half skill recharge on for example sliver armor not that thats going to help much in an SoOsc though just run a martial wep + shield have a set with some daggers so you can actually use that dagger skill :P and thats about it for SoOsc

That is what I use on my shield. However, bear in mind that a +30 handle is reasonable, as are 20% -5 and "while in a stance" mods (assuming you have Conviction on your bar, and until you've been doing this a while I'd recommend that you do).

snow's a pretty light job, so anything with +20% ench should handle it. unless ur unfamiliar with the area, rubberband/lag a lot, or the monsters there just hate ur guts ( it does happen where they always attack the same person), there's no difference between a staff/caster and shield set. imo armor vs pierce/blunt r more useful than -2/ench or -2/stance.
